Argylle is based on a script by Jason Fuchs. The film is produced by Cloudy Productions and Vaughn’s collaborators Adam Bohling and David Reid, as well as Fuchs. Zygi Kamasa, Carlos Peres, Claudia Vaughn and Adam Fishbach serve as executive producers.

Vaughn’s films have generated more than $2.6 billion at the global box office, making him one of Britain’s most successful independent filmmakers.

He began his career producing Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, debuted as a director with Layer Cake and followed by co-writing, directing and producing Stardust. From 2009 to 2014, Vaughn released Harry Brown, The Debt, Kick-Ass and co-wrote and directed 20th Century Fox’s X-Men: First Class in 2011, followed by co-writing Fox’s X-Men: Days of Future Past in 2014.

Vaughn in 2014 co-wrote and directed Fox’s Kingsman: The Secret Service, and 2017’s sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle. That was followed in 2021 by prequel The King’s Man released worldwide by 20th Century Studios.
