Netflix’s original series “The Fall of the House of Usher” remained atop Nielsen’s weekly top 10 most-streamed content across household televisions with 1.5 billion viewing minutes across eight episodes through Oct. 22. The tally represented a 19% climb from the series’ first full week of availability — with nearly two-thirds of viewing coming from the 18- to 49-year-old demo.

The show is the only content to out-perform catalog episodes of “Suits” in back-to-back weeks since the former USA Network legal drama first landed in the top 10 during the June 19-25 interval — streaming on Peacock and Netflix.

Despite settling for No. 2 overall for the second straight week, “Suits” again topped 1 billion minutes for the 18th consecutive week. The series, co-starring Meghan Markle before she quit acting to marry Prince Harry, has accumulated 45.445 billion viewing minutes.

Netflix landed several newcomers on the overall chart. The comedy film Old Dads, directed by and starring Bill Burr, came in at No. 6 with 728 million viewing minutes, and “Bodies,” the British crime drama series, opened at No. 9 with 633 million viewing minutes across eight episodes.

Old Dads was most popular with the 35-49 demo (31%), while “Bodies” skewed older, with the 65-plus crowd accounting for a similar 31% of viewing.

The new “Goosebumps” series, co-hosted by Disney+ and Hulu, was reclassified by Nielsen as an original title. This updated classification would have made it the No. 5 original last week when it recorded 553 million minutes. This week however, “Goosebumps” added a 6th episode and landed on the overall list at No. 10 (No. 3 Original) with 594 million viewing minutes (up 7%).

The Netflix original series “Pact of Silence” gained steam this week with a 50% increase in viewing vs. the previous interval to 444 million minutes to become the No. 7 original, driven by a 57% Hispanic audience.

Apple TV+ was once again on the chart with “The Morning Show,” whose 27 episodes drove 290 million viewing minutes and took it to No. 10 on the originals list.
