New Apple TV+ original comedy actioner The Instigators, starring Matt Damon and Casey Affleck as a desperate father and an ex-con thrown together to rob a corrupt politician’s ill-gained earnings, topped all weekly streaming through Aug. 14, according to new data from Reelgood.com, which monitors 20 million consumer viewing choices each month across all streaming platforms in the United States.
Among the overall Top 10 most-streamed content for the week, the newest and last season of Netflix’s “The Umbrella Academy,” ranked No. 2, followed by Hulu’s Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, Netflix’s “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder,” Austin Butler’s period biker movie The Bikeriders on Peacock, Jake Gyllenhaal’s “Presumed Innocent” on Apple TV+, Max’s “House of the Dragon,” and “Industry,” Vince Vaughn’s “Bad Monkey,” streaming on Apple TV+, and Deadpool 2, streaming on Disney+.
