The Dutch psychological mystery thriller AmnesiA (2001) is available now on DVD and Blu-ray Disc from MVD Entertainment Group and Cult Epics.
Directed by Martin Koolhoven (Winter in Wartime, Brimstone), the film follows a photographer (Fedja van Huêt) who returns home to find his family’s dark secrets uncovered.
The debut feature film of actress Carice van Houten (Black Book, “Game of Thrones”), AmnesiA won Fedja van Huêt (Character, Speak No Evil) the Golden Calf Award for Best Actor for his dual role.
Cult Epics presents the film in a two-disc Blu-ray limited edition set which includes a bonus disc with Martin Koolhoven’s debut TV movies: the award-winning Suzy Q (1999), featuring the first TV movie appearances by Carice van Houten and Michiel Huisman (“Game of Thrones,” The Age of Adaline), and Dark Light (1997), with Viviane de Muynck and Marc van Uchelen (The Assault).

Other extras on both the Blu-ray set and DVD of the release — which features a 4K HD transfer from the original camera negative and restoration — include an introduction by Martin Koolhoven; audio commentary by Martin Koolhoven and Fedja van Huet, moderated by Peter Verstraten; a conversation with Martin Koolhoven and Carice van Houten (2022); “The Making of AmnesiA” (2001); a behind-the-scenes featurette with Carice van Houten (2001); and the theatrical trailer.
