Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

Sony Pictures Animation’s original Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Apple TV+ original sci-fi series “Silo,” topped all movie and episodic programming in the month of June, according to new data from JustWatch, which tracks the streaming video habits, including digital retail and rental, of 20 million users across 59 markets, including the U.S.
The precursor to current animated theatrical hit Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the sequel held off formidable competition from Universal Pictures/Illumination’s The Super Mario Bros. Movie — the current top box office through midway 2023 — and Liongate’s hit John Wick: Chapter 4 for the monthly podium spots.
“Silo,” headlined and co-executive produced by Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible franchise), the series topped strong newcomers “From,” the MGM+ original sci-fi series about residents of a small town struggling to find a way out when mysterious unknown forces keep them from leaving, and the second season of critically-acclaimed family diner drama, “The Bear” streaming on Hulu.
