The debut of Netflix’s spin-off series “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story” dominated weekly U.S. household TV streaming for the week ended May 7, according to new data from Nielsen. Starring India Ria Amarteifio as the queen, the series generated almost 1.9 billion minutes across six episodes to hold off the final episodes of the final season of “Firefly Lane” with 1.25 billion minutes.
The Netflix original series “Sweet Tooth,” which was renewed for its third and final season, rounded out the podium with more than 1 billion minutes across 16 episodes.
The streaming pioneer again dominated Nielsen’s weekly chart, accounting for 80% of the Top 10 most-streamed content. Netflix has carried the Nielsen chart since the rating’s company began tracking household TV streaming viewership in 2021.
