Lionsgate’s Plane retained the No. 1 spot on both the Redbox disc rental chart and the Redbox On Demand chart the week ended April 16. This marks the third consecutive week as the top disc rental for the actioner, which stars Gerard Butler as a commercial pilot who must team with a criminal to rescue his passengers after crash landing in a hostile jungle. It has spent two weeks atop the digital chart.

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s creepy robotic doll thriller M3GAN remained No. 2 for a third week on the disc rental chart, which tracks DVD and Blu-ray Disc rentals at Redbox’s thousands of red kiosks. It remained No. 8 on the digital chart.

Disney-owned 20th Century Studios’ Avatar: The Way of Water remained No. 2 on the Redbox On Demand chart, which tracks digital VOD and sellthrough transactions.

The No. 3 disc rental, and No. 4 on the digital chart, was Sony Pictures’ Missing, about a girl scouring the Internet for her missing mother.

Sony Pictures’ Tom Hanks starrer A Man Called Otto slid a spot to No. 4 on the disc chart, but rose two spots to No. 5 on the digital chart.
